This blog is currently under construction. I don't like our template and I am looking for a new one. Once we have a new template we will try and blog more often and I will have Casey post as well since he is a great deal funnier than I am. I would post a picture but we literally have not taken a photo since August.

Wii Play!
Yesterday Casey had the day off so he took his old cds into Gray Whale (a cd exchange type store) and traded them in for another wii mote and wii play!!! So we now have 4 wii motes, which makes for a rockin good time. We played the mini games on wii play and Casey demolished me every time, but it was fun anyway!

A quick Update
Well, we can all see that I Sarah Rogers should never promise to do anything, because I stink at keeping promises. So I apologize for my lack of blogging, but will try and do better. Any who here is a quick update on the lives of the Rogers.
Casey: Casey is really liking his work at the Daily Herald and has been designing some pretty cool features sections. There is a link you can go to and see some of his work, I will ask him to put it up so you can all ohh and awe at his creative genius. Casey has also been enjoying playing Zelda on the Wii each morning after taking me to work. We are currently looking for another car, however, so he won't have to wake up at 7 every morning. Finally Casey has recently gotten some pretty cool puma stuff (one awesome hoodie and bag) and added the games Incan Gold and Witts and Wagers to his collection.
Sarah: I have been working 2/3 time at Mountain View High School. When we moved here there weren't any full time science teaching positions open, so I took a 2/3 time one teaching biology. The school is nice, and I have to admit working part time is nice. In addition to working at the school I am taking a post-bac class at BYU and applying for graduate school there next year. So I have to start writing essay, getting letters of recommendation, and preparing for the GRE, which I am slightly scared of. So that is pretty much my life right now, but hopefully once we get another car I will get a part time job for the afternoons so I can save up for grad school.
Neville: Neville has taken up the habit of rubbing his head into the carpet and creating huge matts all around his ears so last week he got a major haircut. We then realized that he is all skin and bones and what we thought was meat was really just fluff. He is still cute but we prefer him with shaggy hair so we are making in effort to keep him matt free. Neville also got a pumpkin shirt (which I am sure Nate will be jealous of) and a glow in the dark skeleton hoodie, which is the coolest shirt ever. The shirts look super cute on him and help to hide the fact that he really is a walking skeleton now that he is fluff less. We will post pics soon.
Well that is all the news for now, so I hope everyone is doing well. Also I am sorry for all the typos, Casey is not here to edit my writing for me.
We love you all!

New York New York
My family and I just got back from NYC where we picked my sister Meghan up from her mission. She served in NYC and Norkwalk Connecticut, so we got to tour around a bit. We all had a good time, but I know I am not a city person. Since we got back we have just been bumming around the house, and my dad and I are working on redoing my old bedroom which has become the family junk yard. Today I took 6 bag of clothes/shoes/toy to Goodwill and we have already taken about 4 bags of trash out. Sorry I don't have any pics or videos right now, but there will be some soon. Casey is going slightly crazy with boredom while stuck in Provo, but he comes out to PA on Friday so we can all go visit my grandma in the hospital (she had heart surgery). I hope you all are doing well!

Shattered Glass and other videos
In the mean time we got a new flip camcorder so here are a few links to videos we have made. One is of Neville because he is the love of our lives and the other is of the kitchen in our apartment. We are subletting till August 11th and believe me we can't wait to leave.
While here, Casey managed to destroy some highly-valued property.
Here's a comparison of the kitchen floor, partway through Sarah's scouring of it.
And finally, Neville REALLY wants to go on a mission!

Much Needed Update and Promise to Do Better
Hey all, its time for a much needed update and a promise that I Sarah Rogers vow to update this blog once a week. The posts maybe be short and uninteresting (we aren't that exciting) but they will be there.
Now for a recap:
Since our last post much has happened. First we went to Hawaii!!!!! We stayed at a cute little beach house in Laie where I went to school. The beach was great, though it rained a bit, and we came back no longer looking like sickly ghosts. It was Casey's first time in Hawaii and he loved it. We bummed around and ate amazing local food and just enjoyed not working. It was the first time we had spent more than 2 days off together since moving to California, so we loved every second of it. Here are a few pics for you to enjoy.
Sarah at the Laie Temple Casey at dinner, what an animal

If you are wondering Casey is
NOT photoshopped into this picture Sarah really loves the beach that much

The day we got home from Hawaii was my birthday so I took the entire day off and we partied! I got some clothes and a game for the Wii, by the way we got a Wii.
Not much happened until June when Casey was offered a job as a features designer in Provo Utah. It is day time hours so while the idea of Provo didn't thrill us at first, we took it. We had 2 1/2 weeks to move. I finished teaching on the 15th and Casey started work on the 18th so it was a little crazy but we made it.

The Roger's Family is Still Here... and We Have an Addition!

Hey all just wanted to let you know that we are in fact still alive and that we are reviving our blog. To sum up the last 6 months, we live in California, we got a puppy, and we are going to Hawaii on Monday for spring break. We will fill you in on the trip and hopefully get a new picture of the puppy up when we get back. The puppy's name is Neville and he is super cute. His favorite things to do are chew on 20 oz pop bottles and eat my hair.

California Love
We are in California!!! Casey and I arrived on August 12th with the help of my dad who flew to Utah and drove the rental truck out here for us. We had a good time and things went very smoothly for us on our drive. My dad had to go back for work the next morning though. Since then my mom has come and visited us as well as Rafe, so we feel very loved. Chris and Shauna have been keeping us entertained and helping us through our Internet crisis. We are having some issues getting service so they have traded us internet time in turn for Casey taking over as Bernie's dog walker. Casey started work on the 17th and I have been around the school but officially start tomorrow Aug 24th. Hopefully we will be able to post pictures and create more bloggs soon, but I guess that depends on the lovely folks at AT&T!

And now the weather

The weather today in Provo was CRAZY!! As you can tell, our weathergirl was almost swept away by the 80 mph winds, hail and rain. It lasted for about 10 minutes. Center Street in Provo flooded, several powerlines went down, and lots of damage was caused to the Provo airport. Maybe when the Daily Herald Web site starts working we can post some professional photographs of the mess. Our photos were taken at around 11 a.m. Notice how dark it is! or was.
Our new nephew is one cool dude

Hey everyone! In the continuing fury of trying to catch you up with our lives while we were lazy, meet our new nephew! His name is Ezekiel or Eazy-E, depending on which circles you run in. Well Johanna and John (that's Sarah's sister and her husband for those who are just catching up with us) came to visit a couple of weeks ago and brought along their baby. He's pretty cute without comprimising his gangsta-ness.
Oh Zion, Dear Zion
Casey, Amy, Dillon, and I all drove up from Vegas to Zion national park. It was quite the experience. The night we got there a dear came up into our camp site and just looked around and started eating the grass. It was about 3 feet away from us and wasn't bothered at all. I wanted to take a picture but was afraid of scaring him away. We spend the next day doing some hikes and they were amazing. I wish we could have done more but we were all pretty tired from the heat and our wild time in Vegas. Here is a picture of us on a log that was perfectly worn for my butt. It was like sitting on a cloud! -- Sarah
Cherry Cherry Cobbler

Several weeks ago (I know we're really slow, but honestly we thought it was due to a problem with being able to load photos, and really, what's a blog without photos?) we made a delecious cherry cobler with some cherries grown locally (I think, that grocery store could've been lying and remember this was a while ago). It was utterly delecious and a macabre affair as you can see how bloodied Sarah became while making it. Yes, several cherries were hurt in the making of this cobbler.

Summer fun
Today we took advantage of Provo's altitude and sun and decided to crash a local apartment complex's pool and lay out for a little while. All was in vain though, I'm still as white as can be.
In snow related news, Sarah got the job at the shaved ice stand! It's called Ella Good. Get it? Not quite as good as Snow-body's Business if you ask me though.
This weekend we're heading off to Las Vegas to meet up with Sarah's friend Jason who is moving there for business related reasons. In other words, he's going to be a stripper. Check out his show, "Headlights and Tail Pipes" next time you're there. On Sunday we're driving up to Zions National Park to experience the wonders of nature. Also we hope not to run into any Zionists battling Palestinians. We'll be sure to take plenty of pictures, in other words, one picture and we'll post them as soon as we get back.

Happy Fourth of July!
Happy Fourth of July everybody! So far we have honored our independence by sleeping in, catching a matinee of "Superman Returns" and eating Chinese food! We figured that was ok because the Chinese did invent fireworks. We hope to catch fireworks tonight at Thanksgiving Point, but the weather is looking kind of shady. In other news, Sarah started working in a shaved ice shack, getting some experience to open up our own in California! I think I've got a name for our future venture already, "Snow-body's Business." What do you think? Do we have a hit on our hands or what?

Our New Home
Hey all Casey and I offically have an apartment in San Ramon. It is really nice, we saw it while we were out there in March. The move is offically happening August 11th and all donations can be made in the form of a check made out to Sarah or Casey Rogers. Here are some pics of our new apartment complex.
